Heading into Game 5 of the NBA playoffs on Wednesday (May 14), the Miami Heat currently lead 3-1 over the Brooklyn Nets. And apparently Paul Pierce isn't too happy about that...
According to the infamous gossip webloid MediaTakeOut.com, the popular athlete got into a major tiff with fellow b-baller LeBron James. Here's how it all went down...
Another unidentified player on the Nets tells MTO that Pierce started "talking smack" after Monday night's game (May 12). FYI - the Heat defeated Brooklyn 102-96.
Anyway, James apparently "said the wrong thing," and Pierce totally freaked-out. It didn't help that James totally owned Pierce on the court that night.
Rumors suggest that the former Boston Celtics MVP "punched" James right in the jaw. Then, all hell broke loose in the players tunnel.
Fellow teammates came to James' defense, and a violent brawl almost broke-out. The Miami superstar got so heated, that he had to be restrained by ten men. Apparently, he looked like a "crazed" person.
Better yet - a bystander allegedly got the entire confrontation on video. MTO reports that bidding on the epic footage is currently going down now - fans can likely expect an update on TMZ soon.
So, stay tuned...
