Jay Z and Solange Fight -- Solange tweet about Jay-Z hitting Beyonce fake?

Twitter may have just solved the billion-dollar question to why Solange attacked her brother-in-law, Jay-Z in the Standard Hotel elevator after attending a Met Gala after party last week.

According to TMZ, a tweet surfaced onto Solange Knowles Twitter account accusing Jay-Z of hitting Beyonce. The tweet in question said, "He tried the right one. I keep telling yall that n***a ain't bout that life. U hit my sis I hit u hoe. Talk what you! Y'all don't know s**t."

After doing a little research, the gossip site revealed that the tweet was never really posted on Solange's Twitter account, and never even existed.

A rep for Solange told TMZ, "I can confirm that Solange did not tweet that; that is now a real tweet."

The real cause of the explosive attack is still unknown at this time, and may never be known.
