AMC Releases First Photo of Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes in Season Five of ‘The Walking Dead!” [Twitter Photo]

AMC has just released the first set photo from the fifth season of The Walking Dead. Based on the popular title from Image Comics, The Walking Dead follows Rick Grimes (played by Andrew Lincoln) as he leads a group of survivors in the zombie apocalypse.

[SPOILERS] Rick (Lincoln), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Daryl (Norman Reedus), and Carl (Chandler Riggs) found themselves trapped in Terminus. The leader of Terminus, Gareth (Andrew J. West), led them all into an abandoned containment car. Rick found the other survivors of the prison, including the reunited Maggie (Lauren Cohan) and Glenn (Steven Yuen), in the same car. They have to work together in order to escape Terminus.

Rick is all bloodied up and beaten in the picture. He still looks ready to jump out into action, with guns blazing. It looks like there won't be time jump this season. The photo seems to take place right when Rick and the others found themselves in Terminus.

AMC has just released a teasing photo from the fifth season of The Walking Dead. The fifth season premiere will take place sometime this October.
