The Arrow Season 2 finale airs Wednesday night and will feature the final showdown between Oliver and Slade as they battle for Starling City. But there is still room for love amid the chaos and war, and someone will utter those three little words during the episode.
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim teased on Twitter that someone will say "I love you" during the Arrow Season 2 finale but did not reveal the character's identity. The "Spoiler Chat" column at E! Online provides a bit more information about the episode:
"'I can't say sh*t about that!' Stephen Amell said when we asked if Oliver is the one dropping those three little words. 'I can't say anything about that line!' However, Amell teased, 'Possibly the loudest reaction from viewers in the finale will take place in a moment of complete silence.' Hm..."
Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said the following to TVLine about the episode, entitled "Unthinkable."
"There may have been a lot of what seemed like detours this season, but it all plays out in the last few episodes. Hopefully, everyone will see the method to our madness and find the finale to be an exciting culmination of the season, as opposed to just a great episode."
TVLine also reports the following about the Season 2 finale:
"Titled 'Unthinkable,' the sizable season ender required Arrow to return to The Watchmen's sprawling cityscape set -- it's that big. 'There may have been a lot of what seemed like detours this season, but it all plays out in the last few episodes,' Kreisberg attests. 'Hopefully, everyone will see the method to our madness and find the finale to be an exciting culmination of the season, as opposed to just a great episode.'"
