CW Network Releases An ‘Extended’ Look At ‘The Flash’ TV Series Starring Grant Gustin, Danielle Panabaker, & Jesse L. Martin! Don’t Miss Cameo By ‘Arrow’s Stephen Amell! [Watch Video]

The CW Network offers an extended trailer to the upcoming The Flash series. Watch Barry Allen (played by Grant Gustin) learn if he was just lucky to survive his freak accident or if he was actually meant to be struck by lightning.

In the extended trailer, we get to see more about Barry Allen and his back-story. In the DC Universe, Barry was working in his lab, mixing chemicals, when he was suddenly struck by lightning. After being struck by lightning, Barry gains super-speed and eventually becomes known in the DC Universe as The Flash.

There are a few enemies from The Flash's rogue gallery making an appearance in the trailer. Blink and you'll miss an appearance by Reverse Flash. The Reverse Flash may have murdered Barry's mother when he was just a child. The main villain in the pilot might possibly be The Weather Wizard.

The Flash and Arrow will be sharing the same mythology. Arrow's very own Stephen Amell will make an appearance in the pilot. Could these two superheroes possibly team-up together in future episodes, just like in the comics?
