Beyoncé, Rachel Roy Beef Over Jay Z Cheating Scandal: Did Bey, Solange check Rachel For Flirting With Her Husband?

New reports of a flirtatious Rachel Roy and Jay Z may have been the reason why Beyoncé and Solange flipped out about at the Met Gala after party at the Boom Boom Room.

According to E! News, the elevator fight between Jay Z and the 27-year-old was caused by designer Rachel Roy flirtatious behavior witnessed and addressed by the "Diva" singer.

"At the gala, Rachel was being flirtatious with Jay," the source revealed. "Once everyone was at the Boom Boom Room for the after-party, her flirtations were elevated."

Apparently, Queen Bey wasn't silent about the incident at the party as she seemed to be in the elevator, "Beyoncé approached Rachel to let her know the behavior was disrespectful and she wanted her out of their lives for good," the source continued. "Solange came over to have her sister's back, and things got heated with her and Rachel. Jay said some disrespectful things to Beyoncé and Solange as the confrontation was going down. That's why all hell broke loose in the elevator and why Beyoncé just stood back and let Solange hit Jay."

The Knowles-Carter family released a statement to the Associated Press, and admitted to family issues and denied that Solange was drunk or stirring problems at the party.

"As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it," the family said in a statement. "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family. The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false. At the end of the day families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same."
