Take Bite Out Of MTV's Supernatural Drama 'Teen Wolf' With New Trailer, Just Released For Season 4

Get ready for something to sink your claws into because Teen Wolf is back.

MTV just released a trailer for the season four opener of its hit series, and excuse us while we fan girl out over it.

The video clip shows main characters Stiles, Scott, Derek and Lydia rising out of the ground in what appears to be sand and shaking the dirt off them, while money and debris rains down from the sky. The caption for the promo is "Can't Go Back."

Can't Go Back to what?

Possibly can't go back to the way things were. The third season ended with one of the most shocking deaths of the series thus far. If you haven't watched the episode then stop reading and come back when you're all caught up... we'll wait.

In the season three finale, the gang ends up defeating the Nogitsune and the Oni who have taken up residence in pretty much every aspect of the town including the hospital, and sheriff's station. The defeat of the two villains didn't leave the main characters unscathed though. In the process of destroying them, Allison and Aiden, are claimed by the beasts, something that the main characters will still be dealing with when we rejoin them for season four. Also in season four we will see Kate Argent becoming a new threat for the gang along with a mysterious enemy who will terrorize the town known as "The Benefactor."

The new season will premiere on June 23 on MTV.
