AHHHHH!!!!
That is the only word that our brain could manage to form when we saw that Disney had premiered the Pilot episode of Girl Meets World online, earlier today.
The release is more than a month before the episode is set to premiere on the Disney Channel, on June 27. Regardless we simply couldn't be more excited to watch it.
The episode can be watch through Disney's WATCH Disney Channel streaming service, which is available to anyone who subscribes to the channel through their service provider. However if you don't have a subscription have no fear, you can watch the episode here.
In the pilot episode, we get to catch up with beloved Boy Meets World character's Cory and Topanga, who are raising their family in New York City. We are also introduced to their daughter Riley, her best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), Lucas (Peyton Meyer) who will play Riley's love interest, and their classmate Frakle (Cory Fogelmanis), who will be like the new Minkus.
We aren't going to give too much away because you really need to watch it for yourselves, but we will give you a brief synopsis. At the beginning of the episode Cory tells Riley he wants her to make the world her own(aww so cute), and that's exactly what she does.
Throughout the episode we see Riley dealing with discovering herself and the kind of world she wants to live in. She decides to take after her rebellious friend Maya, and makes a stand against doing homework in her history class, which is taught by none other than her father. The rest of the episode deals with the ins and outs of Riley and Maya's friendship, with a cameo appearance made by one of our favorite original cast members. You'll have to watch to find out who because we're not telling.
As reported earlier this year, original members from the Boy Meets World universe are set to make appearances in the new series, including Maya's father who is Sean Hunter played by Rider Strong.
Strong is set to make an appearance on an upcoming holiday special alongside Betsey Randle and William Russ who played Cory's parents in the flagship show.
Other original cast members making the jump to Girl Meets World include William Daniel's character of Mr. Feeny, and Lee Norris who will reprise his role as Minkus.
Norris told E! News earlier this year, "I've had a great time being back on set with some of my old friends. It still amazes me how many people love and remember Minkus, and I'm excited for the fans to catch up with him.
Fans are definitely going to be happy to catch up with all the returning members of the Boy Meets World family.
