Marvel Entertainment Releases ‘The Avengers Play Set’ In ‘Disney Infinity: Marvel Superheroes (2.0 Edition)!’ [Watch Video]

The power-hungry Loki, Thor's villainous brother, promises a chilling storm is coming towards Marvel Manhattan. Marvel Entertainment has released a new teaser trailer showcasing "The Avengers Play Set" in Disney Infinity: Marvel Superheroes (2.0 Edition).

Avalanche Studios is once again in charge of developing the Disney Infinity sequel. The videogame is split up into two different modes, the Play Set and the Toybox. "The Avengers Play Set" is written by Brian Michael Bendis, known for Guardians of Galaxy and Ultimate Spider-Man. The Avengers, including Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Captain America, assemble once more to take down Loki and his army of Ice Monsters.

In the video, the streets are paved in cold and frozen creatures are tearing through the pavement. Loki's ice storm quickly takes over Manhattan and will soon spread all over the world, if the Marvel superhero team don't stop him first. Thor knows this this one of Loki's diabolical tricks as he finds himself caught in this twisted family reunion.

Wait for the last scene in this trailer. Viewers will see a hilarious clip starring The Incredible Hulk. The jade giant is trying to park his tiny Spider-Mobile. LazyGamer caught the Spidey design and posted the image straight from the wall-crawler's comic. The Spider-Mobile was invented by Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, because Parker needed to save money on restocking his web fluid.

Disney Infinity: Marvel Superheroes (2.0 Edition) will be released sometime in September. I don't know about you readers, but I'm very excited to play as Hawkeye and Black Widow in this videogame.
