Activision And IDW Publishing Announce Ron Marz, Mike Bowden, & David Baldeon’s ‘Skylanders’ Comic Book!

Activision has teamed up with IDW Publishing to bring a videogame sensation onto the comic book page. Renowned writer Ron Marz joins lead artists Mike Bowden and David Baldeon for the first-ever Skylanders comic book series.

An introductory 16-page story will be featured in Skylanders #0. Non-gaming fans will be able to jump into the series with character guides and additional back-up information. Then, the first installment will be a prequel to the Trap Team storyline. The writing and artwork will provide gaming fans an inside look at where their favorite Skylanders came from. All-new characters will be joining the lineup as the upcoming game hits its release date.

Skylanders #0 will launch in print and digital during San Diego Comic Con weekend (July 24-27). Get ready for the first issue to hit stores sometime this October.
