So, a Robsten reunion at this year's Cannes Film Festival didn't happen. But will the former "Twilight" lovebirds star in an upcoming biopic together!?
Highly unlikely, but recent rumors suggest that there's still a slight chance that Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson will rekindle an onscreen romance!
Alleged sources tell CelebDirtyLaundry.com that Robsten might work together again in the near future. But they won't star in a "young vampire love" franchise - instead, producers hope to pen a non-fiction biopic based off of their real life experiences!
Recently, both K-Stew and R-Patz have worked on a slew of "indie" projects - for example, "Clouds of Sils Maria," "Maps to the Stars," "Still Alice," "Queen of the Desert," etc. If anything, CDL suggests that a Robsten biopic would take on a similar, non-mainstream vibe.
Hopefully the film would "mirror their real lives during the 'Twilight' craziness" and beyond (via CDL). The 28-year-old British heartthrob and 24-year-old "SWATH" beauty were basically no-names before taking on the popular roles of Bella and Edward. They eventually fell in-love both on and off screen, and their relationship became a "worldwide phenomenon" thanks to the success of "Twilight." Then the whole Rupert Sanders cheating scandal erupted. The film would supposedly follow a behind-the-scenes take on their lives - past, present, and future. Might make a great movie, right?
Again - these are just rumors. K-Stew and R-Patz are very busy with their separate careers right now, and who knows if they'd agree to release a "blockbuster" flick based off of their own lives! Pattinson is a very private individual, so it's pretty hard to imagine.
