The final 10 episodes of True Blood are nearly here, and fans of the HBO vampire drama are waiting anxiously for the start of Season 7 on June 22. A trailer has already dropped, and now a promo poster has been released of Sookie (Anna Paquin) that raises an interesting question.
The poster, which you can see at the top of the page, is a black background with the caption "True to the End" and shows a view of Sookie on her back from the side with a single bloody tear running down her cheek. The show has made a significant deal of Sookie's non-vampire status, though it has toyed with the idea of turning her a few times. Could the bloody tears combined with the poster's tagline indicate the show is going to pull the trigger?
In other True Blood news, TVLine posted a batch of nine photos that show many of the major players, but Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) is nowhere to be seen. The actor will return for Season 7, but the details of his returns are unclear.
In more news, the following comes from the "Spoiler Chat" column at E! Online:
"Brandon T.: Any scoop on True Blood's final season?
Expect to see a major Tara-centric flashback in one of the final episodes of the season, one that will give us a look at her troubled childhood. In the trip down memory lane, viewers will see Joe, Tara's scary, abusive drunk of a father, as well as a young Sookie and Lafayette."
What do you think the poster means? Let us know in the comments below?
