Try your best not to smile or shed a tear during this video, side note, it's impossible.
Mr. G, a 10-year-old goat, was recently taken in by an animal rescue farm in Grass Valley, California called Animal Place's Rescue Ranch. This ranch saved him from an awful animal hoarding situation, but the goat didn't feel saved at all.
When the ranch took him in, the goat refused to do anything besides lay in his stall all day. He did not eat or move from the spot for the first six days, just siting with his head resting in the hay. Farm workers had to actually go into the stall and physically move the sad little goat. They even enlisted the help of vets to see if the goat had something physically wrong with it. All tests came up fine and Animal Place realized that what the goat was suffering from was a broken heart.
Turns out that Mr. G missed one of his best friends from the hoarding house, a burro named Jellybean. The besties were both taken to different animal rescues and they thought they would never see each other again.
Little did they know that, an employee from Animal Place volunteered to make a 14-hour round trip drive to retrieve Jellybean and reunite him with this best friend.
You need to watch the video to see the reunion that will melt even the coldest of hearts.
Animal Place revealed that they will never let the two be separated again, saying that they are now both permanent residents of the 600-acre sanctuary.
