Lena Dunham had a little dog trouble yesterday.
The creator and star of the hit HBO series Girls, had a little incident with her dog, Lamby. The rescue dog, which she took home last year, wasn't feeling so keen on the actress and took it out on her butt; biting her and causing her to bleed.
Ouch!
The Golden Globe winner Instagrammed a photo of her standing in her bloody underwear after the attack, because clearly everyone wanted to see that.
She captioned the photo, "My dog bit me on the ass and Jemima Kirke captured the image of a life time."
In a second Instagram, Lena posted a picture of her dog sprawled out on her bed enjoying a little catnap writing, "Now he's acting like he never nipped me on the behind."
She even took to Twitter to talk about the incident saying, "Lamby has bitten me twice and both times it was in response to me sobbing. Can I turn this info into some kind of animal behavior thesis?"
She even got the attention of David Carr, New York Times writer. He wrote back to Lena saying, "Time to change Lamby's name to 'Bitey, which she replied to by saying, "I was leaning towards C-ty, but yours is better for shouting across the dog park, I think."
She even brought the accident up again today on the social network writing, "The bite doesn't hurt that much. Just continuing to make pathetic excuses for my dog: he had a hard childhood, my shorts were too short, etc."
