AMC's hit drama series Breaking Bad came to an end in September of 2015, with the final scene fading to black as Walter White lied bleeding to death on the floor of a meth lab. But did he actually die? According to a new interview with star Bryan Cranston, White's death wasn't as apparent as you'd think!
While appearing on CNN this week, the actor sat down with host Ashleigh Banfield to promote his 2014 blockbuster Godzilla, but the conversation soon turned to his Emmy-winning performance as Walter White in Breaking Bad. Banfield asked if White did actually die in the final scenes of the critically acclaimed series, and Cranston pretty much said, "no!"
"That final scene, that final image... I wasn't so sure that you died," Banfield said. "I really wasn't. Your eyes were open, and I thought, 'What if the police just take him into custody, he gets better, breaks out, and just goes nuts?'"
"Hey, you never saw bags zip up or anything, or anybody say... you know," Cranston replied, which certainly created quite the buzz all over the Internet!
Clearly this isn't a solid answer or statement in regards to White's death or survival, but it's certainly fun to think about the character making it out alive for a possible continuation of Breaking Bad.

If Walter White is not dead then Breaking Bad should be renamed Meth Man, the show about a super hero who makes meth & cant die from bullets — Erin Gloria Ryan (@morninggloria) May 30, 2014
So Bryan Cranston says 'Never Say Never' and that Walter White may still be alive. Interesting.
