On behalf of UNICEF, actress Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place) took time off from her busy schedule and went on an enlightening trip to Nepal. While there, the Latina beauty was on a charitable mission to raise awareness for children in need.

According to E! Online, the Love You like a Love Song singer spent time with the children of the Sabtbariya Rapti Secondary School. The Getaway actress even took selfie pics with the little ones while playing games and dancing with them.

Gomez describes her trip as incredibly moving, "At first when you witness children living in extreme poverty, you wonder how it is possible that they can be deprived of their basic human needs and rights. Then you talk to these children, and you see hope, promise, and a bright future."
