Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift Enjoys the Platinum Club

Country stars Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift have been certified platinum by RIAA.  Shelton's "Honey Bee" hit double platinum with over 2 million digital downloads.  

Shelton sits on the judge panel for The Voice, and will be welcoming Michael Buble as an adviser on his team in the next season.  Buble's hit single "Home" made its way to the country charts with Shelton's rendition a few years back.

Another old member of the platinum club is Taylor Swift who recently hit platinum with the single "Safe and Sound" featuring Civil Wards, selling over 1 million downloads.  

Swift has hit platinum with numerous tracks since her debut in 2006.  She recently was named the highest paid celebrity under 30 on the Forbes Top 10 list raking in $57 million from May 2011 to May 2012.
