Chris Brown Is Released From Jail! The 'Loyal' Singer Starts Trending On Twitter And Promises Fans New Music

Chris Brown has a reason to celebrate today.

The "Loyal" singer was sentenced to service 131 days in jail starting on May 9 but it appears that the he is to "Run It" right out of there. At 12:01 this morning, the 25-year-old singer became a free man after being released from the Los Angeles County jail. Brown has been in police custody since mid-March after he violated his probation, which has been ongoing following the Rihanna assault charges.

During his May court case the judge had sentenced Brown to serve a year behind bars, but the R&B crooner received credit for 234 days, which were completed both in prison as well as in a court-ordered rehab facility, leaving him with 131 days left to complete. He was set free as just completing 24 of those days.

A number of factors were considered by officers before giving Brown the go ahead.

The R&B singer took to Twitter to express his gratitude for the early release saying, "Humbled and Blessed... Back to the Music and Fans... Thank you GOD."

Even though he is out of the big house, it doesn't mean that he is out of the woods just yet. Chris is still on probation until January 23, 2015 and to assure that he is following the rules he will need to perform a mandatory drug test three times a week, attend two psychiatric counseling appointments a week, and partake in two outpatient therapy sessions per week. He will also still have to complete his community service hours, which were given to him last August following a car crash.

Chris Brown is due back in court on August 13. At that time the judge wil evaluate his progress.
