RIP: Bill Cosby & Temple Univeristy Mourns Lewis Katz's Death After Plane Crash

Legendary comedian Bill Cosby stood out in front of 1,400 mourners in cherry red Temple University sweat pants and a black t-shirt that read: "Self Made, Philly Made, Temple Made" at a memorial service for friend and Temple alum, Lewis Katz at the Temple Performing Arts Center.

The philanthropist and Philadelphia Inquirer co-owner died Saturday night when his private jet crashed during takeoff in Bedford, Mass.

"The Cosby Show" star talked about his late friend's stride from poverty living in Camden, N.J. to successfully venturing off in a lucrative career giving back generously to the City of Brotherly Love and to the Boys and Girls Clubs.

Accoridng to E!News the 76-year-old funny man motivated the grief stricken audience to go out an continue the TU legacy and to carry out just as Lewis did by giving back.

"You better not let it drop. You better not let it fall," Cosby said.

"Lewis Katz lives in what you do to the gifts that were given to you," the actor added. "You will treat these gifts as gifts-not something to be thrown in the trash." He continued, "You don't wait for people to come along and do it," added Cosby, "You do it...You don't have to have big money. All you have to have is yourself."
