The CW Network has revealed its first poster for their upcoming TV series, iZombie. Check out who Rose McIver's co-stars are in the zombie TV show that has a quirky mix of crime, horror, and comedy.

Based on the Vertigo Comics series from writer Chris Roberson and artist Mike Allred, iZombie follows Gwen Dylan, a gravedigger during the day and a zombie private eye during the night. In order to survive the next month, the decomposing Gwen has to feed on a dead body's brains. When her mind suddenly gets filled up with someone else's thoughts, the detective-in-training has to fulfill the dead person's last request.

As reported here, there have been some changes made for live-action adaptation. Gwen has now been renamed "Liv" for the TV show. Just from the promo, we can safely assume that our female protagonist works in the city morgue. Because the white-haired zombie needs brains for food, the mortuary is a great place for dead bodies to keep popping up.

Comingsoon.net got the scoop on the promo poster. Check out the iZombie poster here:

Actors Malcolm Goodwin (House of Cards) and Rahul Kohli (EastEnders) are standing beside McIver in the poster. On the TV show, Kohli appears as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti and Goodwin plays the role of homicide detective Clive Babinaux. Both characters appear to be made specifically for the show, but could also be a bunch of comic book characters completely meshed together.

According to the CW website, the official synopsis states, "Despite covering her tracks, Liv's boss, Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti discovers her secret and is surprisingly excited about the scientific possibilities." Could this mean the good doctor is actually using Liv and feeding her brains until he completes his scientific discovery?

The first poster for iZombie reveals who the main stars are in the upcoming supernatural/police drama. Readers, do you like what you see so far?
