These viral snapshots of NBA baller Dwight Howard "partying" in a hotel room with two young females can't be good...

The story's still developing, but according to the infamous gossip webloid MediaTakeOut.com, the 28-year-old Houston Rockets star should maybe check IDs before inviting girls back up to his room for some "private" time.

The person who took the photos still remains unidentified, but check out the images here. According to MTO, the two ladies in the pics look a little too young for the former Defensive Player of the Year...

There's a huge chance that nothing scandalous went down - perhaps it was just an innocent fan/celebrity hang-out. But from the looks of things, Howard was trying to "get with" at least one of the girls.

Want proof? Check out this angry text message sent to one of his friends after the hotel room rendevous:

"U played me. And u don't even know my age. Smh. U think it's a game. I shared things wih you that I ain't never told anybody. U claim u ain't have my number but u knew everybody else's. U wanted to talk to me when u were ready. U ain't say nothing during playoffs. Nothin after playoffs 'til now. I saw you everyday sending IG Snapchat[s]. But I ain't exist 'til now."

Uh-oh, doesn't sound good. Especially that "you don't even know my age" part...

Howard's alleged "homie" responded:

"I did not play you, Dwight and I didn't have your number, man I had got a new phone and then figured out how to use iCloud, that's bold af. I talked to you everytime..."
