The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt hits shelves on February 24, 2015, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, but this week we were treated to a great new look at the highly anticipated game. From the looks of this new promotional trailer, developers CD Projekt RED have definitely taken advantage of all that next-gen consoles can offer.

But The Witcher has been in the headlines recently for another reason.

In a recent statement regarding meeting with the prime minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, President Barack Obama spoke about The Witcher, saying he played it after Tusk gifted it to him previously.

"The last time I was here, Donald gave me a gift, the video game developed here in Poland that's won fans the world over, The Witcher," The President of the United States said. "I confess, I'm not very good at video games, but I've been told that it is a great example of Poland's place in the new global economy. And it's a tribute to the talents and work ethic of the Polish people as well as the wise stewardship of Polish leaders like Prime Minister Tusk."

That's a pretty good endorsement, right? Well, that and the latest trailer. Premiering at the 2014 E3 conference in LA, this new trailer accompanied the release date news to ensure plenty of excitement from gamers.
