The 2014 World Cup is nearly here, but that doesn't mean top English Premier League clubs like Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are resting. These three teams, and many more, are fighting it out for a host of the world's best players. Which team will sign the right players, and which will win the title next season? Could this be a record-breaking transfer window?
Manchester United and City are fighting it out for Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala, 23, and Chelsea are interested, too, but it's believed that Mangala prefers a move to Manchester United, and not the other two teams, despite their lack of European football in the coming season. Manchester United are also interested in Barcelona star Pedro.
Manchester City are looking to bring Barcelona defender Dani Alves to England, whilst Chelsea are hoping they can convince Spanish-based trio, Filipe Luis, Tiago and Cesc Fabregas to join their first capture, Diego Costa, who is almost certainly their player. If Chelsea were to add these players to their squad then they would instantly become the favourites to win the EPL title next season, but can the other teams find the talent to top the ones Chelsea are aiming to sign?
Liverpool had a good season, and although they're not competing for the very best players, they are trying to improve. It's believed they have agreed a deal to sign Sevilla defender Alberto Moreno, for around $30 million.
What players will join an EPL club, and who will become champions of England next year?
