Popular Cali Swag District rapper JayAre (best known for his catchy hit, "Teach Me How to Dougie") died on Friday (June 5) after losing a tough battle with sickle cell anemia. He was just 25-years-old.
JayAre (real name, Cahron Childs) had been suffering from the deadly blood disorder disease and was admitted into the hospital earlier this week for "unknown reasons" (Thursday). Reports confirm that he went into cardiac arrest hours later on Friday and soon after passed away.
Following JayAre's untimely death, fellow CSD emcee Smoove Da General tweeted:
