"I'm a Brooklyn Baby."
The indie-pop darling that is Lana Del Rey has taken to her YouTube page to give her fans another taste of what is to come from her upcoming album.
Del Rey unveils new track "Brooklyn Baby" off her album Ultraviolence, and its' everything we were hoping it would be and more, if that's possible.
The song stays true to her hippie, free spirited work of the past, and giving us the same vibe as her unreleased early demos.
While we can't wait until the whole album is officially released, we will take an info that we can get on the remaining tracks we haven't heard yet.
In a new interview with Grazia magazine Lana talks about track "F*cked My Way To The Top" which she confirms is about her beef with a very successful recording artist. Read the following quote and see if you can guess who the "Shades of Cool" songstress is talking about.
"It's about a singer who first sneered about my allegedly not authentic style but later she stole and copied it. And now she's acting like I am the art project and she the true super artist. My God and people actually believe her, she's successful! I shouldn't continue ranting, it doesn't get anywhere."
