‘True Blood’ Ryan Kwanten Says Farewell To Jason Stackhouse In ‘Bello’ Magazine!

Ryan Kwanten, also known as the hunky but not-too-bright Jason Stackhouse, graces the cover of Bello magazine. Before the last season of the vampire/drama TV show airs on HBO, check out what the True Blood actor has to say about the final episodes.

Jason Stackhouse, the dim-witted brother of telepathic fairy Sookie (Ana Paquin), has been a ladies' man and vampire bait in Bon Temps. During the sixth season, Jason met his sexual match with Violet Mazurski (Karolina Wydra). Because of their bond, Violet won't let any woman near Jason, except for his sibling of course. In a laugh-out-loud scene, when Violet introduces herself and plants her lips on Sookie's, Jason responds, "She's European."

According to JustJared, the Knights of Badassdom actor shares some behind-the-scenes moments about this upcoming final season.  

Kwanten describes having to play Jason Stackhouse for seven seasons, "As ridiculous as some of the situations he gets himself into can be, everything comes from a place of reality with him. Jason is who he is, and if he's funny, or naive, or just plain dumb, that's (simply) his truth within that particular situation."

Kwanten looks ahead at his career after True Blood, "I feel like I've sort of set myself up well beyond where I thought I would ever be, so it's time to take stock of where I am, smell some roses, and eventually make a pretty selective next decision."
