Stephen Amell reveals how he keeps that hunky physique ready for the camera on each episode of CW's Arrow. In one long take and no edits whatsoever, viewers will see Ollie Queen going through his demanding fitness session.

During the second season of Arrow, the green archer had to face off against Slade Wilson, Deathstroke the Terminator. Each episode built up the inevitable rematch between hero and villain. Their grudge match was a long time coming between the two of them.

In order to become the popular DC Comics superhero, Amell has to train physically to keep that muscular shape of his. The lead actor runs through a rigorous obstacle course to stay exceptionally fit and energized. Just looking at the Arrow actor in the workout video makes me realize how out of shape I really am.

The video starts off with the TV star doing a 100 push-ups. Then the thespian has to speed up a curved wall in one quick sweep. At first, I thought it was a stuntman doing all those awesome parkour jumps. But no, some of it is actually Amell leaping and landing onto a tight ledge.

My favorite part happens towards the last part of the maze. The Green Arrow has to swing from the monkey bar and hop onto the next wall. When Amell makes that grunting noise while in the middle of the air, you know something is suddenly wrong. Just because of bad timing, he has to do the military-inspired obstacle course all over again.

As reported here, for Slade fans, Deathstroke can now be seen joining the New Suicide Squad.

Arrow's Stephen Amell shows off his superhero workout for the upcoming third season. Readers, doesn't this get you hyped up for the TV shows' return in the fall?
