Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics have taken the stage at Microsoft's E3 Press Conference to present brand new material starring everyone's favorite two-gun grave robber. The female adventurer returns with two action-packed sequels, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris.
2013's Tomb Raider was a reboot of the successful videogame franchise and went back to the roots of the treasure hunter. The first game follows a young and inexperienced Lara Croft as she and her friends become stranded on the violent island of Yamatai. Whatever happened on the island was only the beginning for the adventure junkie.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is a direct sequel to the 2013 game. After fighting off a murderous cult and their priestess, the young archeologist-in-training finds herself stuck in therapy. She is anxious to get out of the room while her therapist rattles on about surviving the outside world.
And this is the part of the video that gets really exciting. We see the action adventurer sliding off the wall of a rocky mountain and holding onto the cliff with just a grappling hook. Towards the end of the trailer, did she just shoot a guy in the back?

The fun doesn't end there because we've also go Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. This adventure game allows up to four co-op players to join in. Though the graphics aren't as detailed as the previous trailer, this looks entertaining enough to play with a group. Who doesn't want to fight a giant monster that just came out of the ground?

Rise of the Tomb Raider is slated to be released towards the end of 2015. The actual release date for Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will be "coming soon," as mentioned in the trailer.
