Vincent D’Onofrio Joins ‘Marvel’s Daredevil’ On Netflix! Find Out Who ‘Wilson Fisk’ Really Is!

A critically acclaimed actor, whom viewers have previously seen in Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Men in Black, is joining the cast of Marvel's Daredevil. Let's find out which one of Marvel's super villains that actor Vincent D'Onofrio will be playing in the upcoming Netflix series.

Marvel has announced D'Onofrio will be participating in the cast of Daredevil. While Charlie Cox will be playing the role of the man without fear, D'Onofrio is portraying Wilson Fisk. Comic book fans already know Fisk by another name, The Kingpin.

In the Marvel Universe, The Kingpin is the most feared super villain because of his unbeatable crime lord status. The criminal mastermind has been at odds with the Spider-Man, Daredevil, and the Punisher. Though these superheroes have been able to stop his evil schemes, they can never actually prove his involvement in the court of law.

Jeph Loeb, Marvel's Head of Television, describes having the Full Metal Jacket onboard, "We're incredibly proud to have an actor with the gravitas and versatility of Vincent [D'Onofrio] joining Marvel's Daredevil in such an integral role. Wilson Fisk is an iconic villain whose cunning and power make him the dangerous equal of our hero."

Fisk has already been presented up on the big screen by another actor. In the live-action Daredevil flick and in the 2003 animated Spider-Man cartoon, Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile) took on the villainous role.
