Fans of the hit series, Pretty Little Liars might need to sit down for this news.
It was just announced that the hit ABC Family series would be returning for not one but two more seasons. That's two more already on top of the fifth season, which has only aired one episode so far.
Can you even believe it? We are still freaking out over last night's season five premiere and this news on top of that just sent us into Liar overload.
Season 5 will run from now until March of 2015, with season 6 premiering in June of the same year, and season 7 will debut the year after that in 2016. At least we know that we'll have our PLL kick until March of 2017. This historic renewal make Liars the longest running series on ABC Family.
Tom Ascheim, the network president, released a statement about the renewal saying, "Pretty Little Liars has taken its place in the zeitgeist and reigns supreme in pop culture. I am glad to bring another two season to our audience because 'A' has a lot in store for our Liars."
So does that mean that we didn't find out who the real 'A' was on last nights show?

Creator Marlene King must be ecstatic over the news. She recent told TVLine before the renewal was announced, "We know the ending of the show, and it's not in season 5. I know the show does not end in season 5, even though we don't have a season 6 pickup. The end of season 5 definitely launches us into season 6. I think, as soon as they tell us [the end date] we will write to that. We know the ending and we're prepared to get there, but we need a 12- episode notice to get there."
