Chelsea Handler Leaving 'Chelsea's Lately'- The Real Reason Behind Her Departure: Says She Sick Of Talking About Justin Bieber

When Chelsea Handler revealed that she was leaving her late night show, Chelsea Lately, fans were shocked, wondering what would make Handler want to leave the show that pretty much made her a household name.

Well it turns out that the reason the comedian has parted ways with E! after seven years was because she was over talking about celebrities more specifically, Justin Bieber.

"To be quite honest I don't really care about Justin Bieber and I don't want to talk about him anymore," Handler tells Britain's Daily Mail. "In order to make that happen I had to just stop doing my show. Straight away,"

And It's not just Bieber that Handler is over discussing on her show. Since her first season, she has been pretty outspoken about her dislike for the Kardashian. She says that with doing the talk show she fell into a pattern of dissing these celebrities and it just didn't feel good.

"You can sit around and complain about all that (bleep) and the Kardashians all day but if you're participating in it then what can you do?,"  she explains. "It really didn't feel great doing the show, and the only way to sort things out was to extricate myself from the entire situation."

An update on Handler's newest project, which is rumored to be with Netflix, will be announced later this month, but she gives fans a little taste of what is to come.

"A little bit more mindful and a little bit more interesting for me and my viewers ... I want to talk to people who have changed the course of the world. Inventors, invaders and people who have been doing exciting stuff."

While this sounds like a pretty interesting new show, it will definitely be different from what she has become known for on Chelsea Lately.

Her last show on E! will air on August 26.
