British heartthrob Robert Pattinson recently appeared on an episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," where he revealed a rather shocking confession...

The former "Twilight" actor's homeless!

Well, sort of.

R-Patz's non-stop movie career is so busy right now, he doesn't actually have a place to "call home" quite yet.

The late-night funnyman asks 28-year-old Pattinson if his living conditions have improved since the last time they've talked - he's always considered himself a Hollywood "nomad." And Pattinson's rather amusing (and somewhat joking) response:

"I wish. It's gone way downhill... My parents borrowed my house, which I was borrowing off someone else, and they kicked me out of it when I came back from Toronto. That's the end of that. So I'm now homeless again."

So when Pattinson's taking a break back in LA, he doesn't actually have a permanent place to stay! Interestin - wonder if he shacks-up with ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart every now-and-then...

An alleged HollywoodLife.com insider explains, "Rob doesn't have his own place in LA. When he's in town, he sometimes stays at the Chateau Marmont and very often at Kristen's when she's out of town... This gives him the chance to hang out with Bear and Bernie."

As for R-Patz's stuff - clothes, personal "gadgets," etc. - who knows where that all is!

"Not entirely sure. It's somewhere around, I wish I knew," Pattinson laughingly muses. "I think I have storage spaces that have a secret key to them. I'm sure they're somewhere."

And who takes care of all that? Pattinson exclaims, "One of my minions!"

As for Pattinson's much-talked about love life... it doesn't look like he's getting back together with 24-year-old K-Stew anytime soon. He still might have his eyes set on "Dark Horse" songstress, Katy Perry.

According to the New York Post, the two friends were spotted "heavily flirting" at the premiere for Pattinson's new thriller, "The Rover." During the star-studded after-party, they allegedly couldn't keep their hands off each other.

But Gossip Cop reports that these "dating" rumors hold no truth - Perry and R-Patz did hang-out at the event, but not romantically. They're still "just friends!"
