Earlier this month, Rolling Stones rocker Mick Jagger was spotted cuddling with a young "mystery brunette" on a hotel balcony in Zurich. As several Mstars fans already know, 70-year-old Jagger's longtime girlfriend L'Wren Scott tragically committed suicide on March 17, 2014.
The Daily Mail recently identified Jagger's new "love interest" as popular American ballerina, Melanie Hamrick. She's only 27-years-old.
And now rumors suggest that the two were hanging out weeks before Scott's shocking death.
Sources initially claimed that Jagger randomly met Hamrick at a nightclub - sort of like a "one night stand." But now reports have changed.
In reality, the English singer met Hamrick backstage three months ago while performing in Tokyo, Japan. On March 6, to be exact - just a few months before Scott took her own life.
Now, reps for Jagger insist that they did exchange numbers, but didn't meet up again until this June (in Zurich).
Now that she's in the spotlight, Hamrick's made all of her social networking accounts private.

Back in February, reports alleged that Hamrick was engaged to fellow dancer, 46-year-old José Manuel Carreño. They're been dating on-and-off over the past six years. She currently resides on the Upper West Side of Manhattan - just a few miles from the home where Scott took her own life. Rumors suggest Hamrick no longer wears her engagement ring.
Check out some more photos of Jagger's hotel rendezvous with Hamrick.
A supposed friend of Hamrick's tells the Daily Mail:
"Ever since the photos emerged Mel has kept her head down hardly stepping out from her apartment. Talk has been rife about their fling with many believing it wasn't just a coincidence the two were in Zurich together following the ambassador's reception in Japan... We all knew it was Mel but many others got the wrong end of the stick when they thought it was principal dancer Diana Vishneva. .. People put two and two together and came up with five because Diana was pictured meeting Mick during the party in Tokyo. But it was Mel on the balcony. They can look quite similar."
Some of these reports are confusing - was Jagger actually cheating on Scott with Hamrick before her death? Scott's sister Jan Shane is not pleased with such gossip, if indeed true:
"These pictures make me really wonder what Mick is really thinking and feeling," Shane said during a recent phone interview with the Mail. "His daughter says that he is still heartbroken and so devastated about losing my sister - and then you see these photos... He will never change. And people wonder why L'Wren was so depressed? The more I think about it - the more angry it makes me... My sister deserves so much more respect than that. It hasn't even been three months. I now believe that he was a bigger part of her troubles that no one knew about. I am so hurt to know that she was so sad and hurting inside and felt that she had nowhere to go."
Meanwhile, another source close to the band insists, "Mick's way of dealing with L'Wren's death was to get back on stage as soon as possible. It wasn't long though before he was up to his old tricks. The girl in Zurich was just a brief fling but she isn't the first and won't be the last. Mick is like an old dog who can't be taught new tricks. Even before he started singing he was a womaniser and he still is. He knows no other way... I'm not sure what the girl in Zurich thinks, but she is a goner."
