'Real Housewives of New York' UPDATE: Andy Cohen Addresses 'RHONY' Cancellation Rumors & Shows Ratings On Twitter

Well it looks like the Real Housewives of New York may not be in as much trouble as reports were originally claiming.  

While this season has seen falling ratings, especially in the coveted 18-49 demographic, it doesn't look like the show will be fading away anytime soon, at least if Executive Producer of the series Andy Cohen has anything to say about it.

The exec and host of Bravo's Watch What Happens Live, took to Twitter today to address the rumors of the declining ratings of RHONY by responding to a fans inquiry.

@Summerstylz tweeted to Cohen saying, "@Andy @bravotv #RHONY is not the disaster "sour simon" keeps eluding to. Late spring airing hurt ratings after all winter being indoors."

Andy responded back by writing,"@summersylz @Bravotv the show is doing great and most importantly we LOVE IT!!"

Latest reports claimed that the show was looking to fire all the housewives from New York and replace them with fresher faces, but it seems like Cohen is such a fan of all the women that it would be hard for him to let them all go.

It was also recently reported that because of the unclear status of the show that all the women have started to turn on each other.

"All of the ladies are blaming each other for the dismal season," an insider revealed to RadarOnline. "The ladies are blaming each other for the problems. Everyone is mad at Aviva for being so boring, Ramona don't have any of her juicy personal drama in the show, Sonja just gossips about the other ladies and LuAnn is tired of the story lines."

The reunion episode has just finished filming so an announcement on the status of the next season of the series is still a few months away.
