Give up? Well you diehard Keeping up with the Kardashian fans may recognize that one of our favorite Orange is the New Black stars actually got her start guest-starring on a few episodes of Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.

Since we finished binge watching the whole second season of the hit Netflix series, we have been dying for some scoop on anything remotely related to the show, and today we found it.

Jackie Cruz who plays Flaca on the prison dramedy, appeared on the first season of the Miami based reality-show, where she met Kourtney in an art class. The two immediately bonded over their lack of artistic abilities and became fast friends.

As the two begin to develop a friendship, Cruz reveals that she left New York to get away from her boyfriend and that since moving to the Miami she has been dating girls, a comment which sets up a make out scene later in the episode, when they go to a lesbian club.

Cruz also appears in a season two episode where Kourtney uses her to make Scott jealous, which doesn't end up working.

In an interview with Bitchin' Lifestyle, Cruz reflects on her time on the show.

"I always wanted to take art classes and I always passed by this art school on Lincoln road. I decided to sign up and Kourtney was in my class. It was all very random. I thought she was really funny and we hit if off quite well.

On whether or not the experience impacted her career positively or negatively she says, "I definitely think that it had a positive impact in my career because people got to know my name and what I was doing in my life. Kourtney is such a sweet person, and yes we are still friends. Now and than we text each other to see how we are both doing."
