'Dancing With The Stars' Mark Ballas Hospitalized After Car Accident, Dancing Pro Injured In Crash

It doesn't look like Mark Ballas will be dancing anytime soon.

According to TMZ, the Dancing With the Stars pro was taken to the hospital following a car accident that took place in Los Angeles on Monday.

The news site reports that Ballas was in the process of turning right when another car collided with the back end of his vehicle. Following the incident, he was persuaded by his girlfriend to seek medical attention after complaining about whiplash and back pain. The reality star checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he was reportedly prescribed pain killers for his injuries. Soon after he was released, however, he was warned by the doctors that his pain was only going to get worse before it got better.

Mark is hoping that the accident doesn't stop him from performing with his band, the Ballas Hough Band, later this week, which also includes Dancing star Derek Hough.   

Luckily, the accident only left Ballas with some minor bumps and bruises, unfortunately the same can't be said about his car, which was towed away due to the damage caused by the crash.

According to TMZ, the driver and the four passengers in the other vehicle are accusing Mark of being at fault for the mishap, yet a bystander who saw the whole thing happen spoke out to police saying that Ballas was at no way at fault since the driver behind him was the one speeding.

We are wishing Ballas a speedy recovery so that he can get back out on the dance floor.
