Before attending the Celebrate Life Ball charity event in Melbourne, Australia, international movie star Nicole Kidman and her country singer husband Keith Urban stopped by a hospital to brighten some young patients' days! Singing "Amazing Grace" to the children at the hospital, these celebrities showed how a simple visit can turn into an important day for others.
"It's one of the most important things I do," Kidman said while speaking to Melbourne's Herald Sun newspaper, according to Hello magazine. "I have been doing it since I became well known in the movie industry. It's deeply sad. But events like the Swisse Celebrate Life Ball ensure that we are able to give to families in need. Even if it is just listening and hugging and showing support, then it's worth it."
As you can see from the video, posted on YouTube by Monash Children's Hospital, Urban plays a simple sing-along version of "Amazing Grace" for the ill and injured children. Though she's not known for her singing, Kidman has shown her vocal talents in some movies like Moulin Rouge. This week she was singing along with her husband to lift the spirits of these poor children.

Following this appearance at the hospital, Kidman took a private jet to Shanghai to attend the Shanghai Film Festival. Even during a busy day, Kidman thought it important to visit the hospital.
