Celebrities have grown used to the prying paparazzi, so when The Amazing Spider-Man 2 stars Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield had their meal interrupted by photographers, they decided to use the photo-op as a chance to raise awareness!
Using sheets of paper to convey a message, the two covered their faces in order to draw attention to what the information they wanted to share.
Emma's paper read: "Good morning! We were eating and saw a group of guys with cameras outside. And so we thought, lets try this again. We don't need the attention, but these wonderful organizations do."
An arrow at the end of Stone's message pointed to her boyfriend's card of information. Garfield's message was a list of charities and organizations that the two support!
They listed the websites for each charity, including Gilda's Club, Worldwide Orphans, Youth Mentoring Connection and Autism Speaks (which is actually a controversial movement).
"Here's to the stuff that matters," Garfield's paper read. "Have a great day!"
You can check out a photo of the two holding up this joint message right here!
What do you think of Stone and Garfield's tactic taken against the paparazzi? Clearly the photographers were hoping to capture the two for some photos, but they got a charity piece instead! Perhaps this worked out a bit better for the photographers considering this is now trending and being talked about more than a simple picture or two of the couple out to lunch.
Either way, this is definitely a good way to raise awareness!
