All eyes may be on the 2014 World Cup, but whilst we're all fully focused on the ongoings in Brazil, it's easy to forget that the Premier League training will start quickly after the World Cup ends, and the season will be back in a little under two months. Today, every English club, and all of the EPL clubs, were told their fixtures for the 2014/15 season. There's interesting games that you will not want to miss.
Louis Van Gaal who has replaced David Moyes, has been handed a much easier start than the former Manchester United boss had last season. The Red Devils start at home against Swansea City on August 16. They will then face Sunderland, Burnley and Queens Park Rangers. If things are done correctly in the transfer market, Van Gaal's men will find themselves aiming for four wins from their opening four games.
The defending champions, Manchester City, did not get so lucky, as they will face Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea in the first month of so of the season. They will have start in good form if they're to have a good season, or else they mind themselves trying to catch up for a long, long while.
What will happen this coming season? Take a look at the opening day fixtures below:
Arsenal v Crystal Palace
Burnley v Chelsea
Leicester City v Everton
Liverpool v Southampton
Manchester United v Swansea City
Newcastle United v Manchester City
Queens Park Rangers v Hull City
Stoke City v Aston Villa
West Bromwich Albion v Sunderland
West Ham United v Tottenham Hotspur
To be played on weekend of August 16/17
