Fans who want to relive the first four seasons of The Walking Dead or those who want to dive in for the first time will soon have a chance to do so, as AMC has decided to add a few zombies to July 4th weekend this year.
The network has scheduled a "Dead, White and Blue" event for Independence Day Weekend. AMC will air all four seasons of The Walking Dead consecutively starting at 9 a.m. on Friday, July 4. This will lead into a Talking Dead Season 5 Preview Special, which will air Sunday, July 6 at 9 p.m.
Furthermore, the network will air two new documentaries about the show. Inside The Walking Dead will air Tuesday, July 8 at 10 p.m. and will feature the major production departments (production design, makeup, costumes, special effects) as they describe how they bring the show to life. Inside The Walking Dead: Walker University will show how the extras transform from regular people to flesh-eating zombies.

In other Season 5 news, The Spoiling Dead Fans reports Glenn (Steven Yeun) will be killed off the show this season:
"RUMOR: we have heard from multiple sources about a possible death. Word is the death of Glenn was filmed yesterday (the post is from May 28). It's possible it could be someone else, but multiple sources stated Glenn. Reports are the set was locked down and everyone was told the cast would not be coming out."
Alanna Masterson, who plays Tara on the show, tweeted the message "When someone great is gone" supposedly at approximately the same time Yeun said goodbye to his fellow cast members.
