Fans learned Tao Okamoto would join the cast of Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice several months ago, but the announcement did not reveal whom she would play. A new report, though, claims to know the truth about her character's identity.

ComicBook.com posted a report that firstly seems to confirm the scoop from Batman-News earlier in the week. The site's sources told them that Jesse Eisenberg was filming scenes at the LexCorp set in Michigan with blonde hair in "a long straight surfer mop."

The report goes on to state that the beautiful Japanese actress, who starred in The Wolverine, would play Mercy Graves, assistant to Lex Luthor:

"Our source indicated that Japanese actress Tao Okamoto is playing Lex Luthor's assistant, who is named 'Mercy.' In the comic books and Superman animated series, Mercy Graves is Lex's personal assistant and body guard, where she is portrayed as highly intelligent and experienced in hand-to-hand combat."

It is possible Okamoto would play Mercy, but the official announcement said she would play a character newly created for the movie. As always, nothing is official until someone from the production makes it so.

The site also expanded on previous descriptions of Lex Luthor, as a source called him "a slimy businessman we can all despise."

"You are going to hate this guy. You are going to root for him to be punched by Supes when he weasels his way out of legal trouble. He is cocky and confident because he is THAT good at what he does. He's a billionaire who knows he is more powerful than the Senator and Congressman visiting because he's a billionaire."

ComicBook.com also describes a scene in which Lex interacts with Holly Hunter's U.S. Senator character and embarrasses or is disrespectful to the congressman accompanying her as he leaves.
