The Oakland native, Zendaya has one thing to be happy about, although some of the world my not think so. MStars News has been keeping you updated with all the latest on the Aaliyah biopic set to be produced sometime this summer, in which the Disney actress has been casted to star in.
MStars previously told you that fans of the late singer filed a petition to have the Lifetime film cancelled, and that Aaliyah's family revealed that they are working along with a lawyer to put a hold on the network using the singer's music in the film.

It seems as the fans of Aaliyah continued, and so Zendaya did as well.

It also seems that someone needed some correcting, according to the 17-year-old.

MStars hopes to see a film of Aaliyah even if that means not seeing it on Lifetime. We hope that a film at least hits the big screen, if the family permits.
We also want to know, do you think Zendaya is fit to play Aaliyah? Do you want to see a produced film of the singer and actress who accomplished so much in only 22-years? Sound off now!!
