Kelly Clarkson Shares First PHOTOS of New Baby River Rose, 'American Idol' Alum Posts Adorable Instagram Pics

She looks just like her mother!!!

Kelly Clarkson has just released the first baby pictures of her new daughter River Rose, which she welcomed to her family on June 12 with her husband Brandon Blackstock. She posted the following picture to her Instagram accounting writing, "Here is our beautiful baby girl River Rose. 6lbs 6oz, 18 inches and the greatest thing on the planet."

The American Idol alum has kept fans updated throughout her whole pregnancy via her social media accounts. She first announced her pregnancy on Twitter back in November, and then revealed that she had given birth on the tweeting site two weeks ago. After giving birth she posted to her Twitter page, "Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12! Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes. Brandon and I are on cloud 9!"

This has not been an easy pregnancy for Clarkson, who has been pretty outspoken about the pain she has endured. She told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show that the pregnancy has caused her to vomit, " a good dozen times a day," and that "only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting."

Kelly welcomes her new daughter with husband Brandon Blackstock who is a talent manager. The two were married back in October at a ceremony, which took place at Tennessee's Blackberry Farm resort.

This is Kelly's first child and Brandon's third. He has two other children from a previous relationship, Savannah, who is 11, and Seth, who's 7.
