HBO's True Blood returns for its seventh and last season. Where we last left off, the Hepatitis V strain was let loose onto the population, leaving countless vampires infected. Check out this recap of the season premiere of Jesus Gonna Be Here.

We start off at the human/vampire mixture at Bellefleur's Bar & Grill, where the infected bloodsuckers have already attacked. Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) uses her faery powers, Violet (Carolina Wydra) stakes out an H-vamp to save Jason (Ryan Kawnten), and Arlene is kidnapped, along with Holly. A loud whistle stops the bloodbath and the H-vamps retreat.

Though we don't actually see Tara (Rutina Wesley) killed in action, her mother shouts that her daughter is dead. Andy (Chris Bauer) gets a call from Jason about the massacre. Though Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) promises to protect her, Adilyn (Bailey Noble) is not allowed to invite her sisters' killer. Inside the bar, Sookie can hear everyone's thoughts, including Alcide (Jason Manganiello), who all blame her for the attack.

Mayor Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) is spotted by his campaign opponent as he was shape-shifting. The political runner-up has a difficult time accepting the truth, but will keep quiet for now. Andy and Bill (Stephen Moyer) team-up to find an abandoned building that could be the H-Vamp's nest. While Sookie is walking aimlessly around in the woods, she stumbles upon a dead body lying on the floor.

We jump to Morocco, where Pam (Kristen Bauer van Straten) is playing in a high-stakes game of Russian roulette. Pam says God hates her and she'd rather be in Hell having a three-way with the Devil. After her competitor shoots himself, Pam gets a name to find her maker. We find out later that she is searching for Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), who never shows up in the episode.

Jessica and Adilyn share some tender moments between each other. Adilyn doesn't hate Jessica for what she did. Their chit-chat is interrupted when a shadowy figure shows up. Jessica and the H-vamp have a standoff until the sun final shows up. To save Jessica, Adilyn invites her in and lets the H-vamp burn in the sunlight.

While searching for the kidnapped ones, Jason and Violent encounter a pack of human hunters led by Sam's political opponent. These vamp-hating guys return when Bill and Andy discover another empty house. This one is so terrible that it make Andy throws up. Andy would rather choose to side with Bill, the man he truly hates, than side with the hunters.

Before they exit, one of hunters says, "To be continued." Andy responds with, "No, this shit*t is over." Andy and Bill have a long way to go because Holly and Arlene are chained-up in Fangtasia's dungeon.

Though the couple has their argument, Sookie ends up in bed with Alcide, asking him to forgive her. Their sex scene is nothing compared to the steamy one Jason and Violet have. In the morning, Sookie attends church, where everyone brands her an outcast. Just before she is about to leave, Sookie pleads with all her haters, "Please let me help."
