The World Cup is getting tastier by the day, with every fixture all the more important than the one played before. The stars that are putting in a ton of hard work to life the World Cup, although on a break domestically, are being constantly linked with some of the world's best teams. With every brilliant bit of play and each goal, Premier League teams are targeting stars to bolster their squad. Which stars could be heading to the EPL, and which could pack their bags and leave?
Luis Suarez has been one of the brightest stars in the past two EPL seasons, but he's constantly been linked with a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid. It seems after his World Cup heroics last week, neither team are prepared to give up on their desire to land the flashy forward. The 27-year-old would be interested in a move, but it would take an offer of around $100 million for Liverpool to sell him. Barcelona have already made an offer, but are unsure of it's status. If Suarez was to leave for Madrid, it's likely that Karim Benzema would join an EPL side.
Tottenham's staff have been keeping a close eye on the World Cup stars, knowing they can land one or two to help push themselves to a better EPL campaign next season. It seems Divock Origi is an $8 million target for them. He scored Belgium's winning goal against Russia, and impressed with his limited game-time. The young striker would develop quickly at Spurs, and he would provide them with something different attacking wise.
What other World Cup stars should your team be looking to sign?
