Garbage Singer Shirley Manson Frightened by Twitter Death Threats

Garbage's lead singer Shirley Manson is fearing for her life due to a cyberstalker who has been tweeting death threats.  

A person named Ray Gunn who Twitter name is @Gunn2urhead was reported to have sent a series of strange messages including accusations of Manson being a telepath and a witch.  Among the crazy tweets, the ones that threatened that he would kill himself or kill Manson got the band to take action.

Garbage's manager, Paul Kremen, has reported to the LAPD and has gained the warrant to be able to access information from the follower's account.

A copy of the warrant given to Twitter execs reads, "[Manson] stated that she is in great fear for her and her family's safety due to the nature of the threats, the sheer volume of them and the 'crazy' sounding messages being posted towards her. She stated she has never had anything like this on this level occur to her and she is very frightened and wants the threats to be investigated fully."

The user has stopped tweeting since June 21, 2012 and the identity of the user has still not be discovered by the police.  If convicted, Gunn will face felony charges for cybertalking.
