TBS is gearing up to celebrate Seinfeld's 25th anniversary by airing 25 of the most famous episodes throughout the series' nine seasons between June 30 and July 5 at 6PM.

The network will air the show in two-hour blocks.

As reported by Variety, on July 5 at 5PM, TBS plans to honor the very day Seinfeld hit the airwaves way back in 1989 with five of the most influential and remembered episodes of the series' run, including: "The Contest," "The Outing," "The Junior Mint," "The Puffy Shirt" and "The Yada Yada."

Getting in on the social media game, the network is creating the Twitter hashtag #Seinfeld25 for fans to follow throughout the run.

It's crazy to think that the now legendary show about nothing first aired way back in the 80s and struggled in the ratings for quite some time. It's since gone on to be arguably one of the greatest and most popular shows of all time, and has actually gained in esteem by far since having concluded in 1998.

Once known as the man behind the camera, Seinfeld's co-creator Larry David has gone on to become possibly more popular than the show's stars, having created HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm in 2000 (though his Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm one-hour special aired in 1999).

As with many successful shows, the hope for a reunion was ever-present. It appeared to be a lost cause until David brilliantly brought it to his own show in 2009.

Earlier this year, it was reported that that Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David and Jason Alexander were seen at Tom's Restaurant (made famous on Seinfeld as Monk's Café) in New York City. While rumors were stating that another reunion was in the works, it turns out the project was a Super Bowl bit for Seinfeld's Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee
