The excitement building around the upcoming Jurassic World motion picture is clearly building, so when Today aired a new segment with director Colin Trevorrow and stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard this week we all felt the hype jump through the roof. This video shows some great on-set interviews as well as filming footage!
Steven Spielberg picked Trevorrow as the new director of this reboot, but also has some input of his own when it comes to Jurassic World. According to Trevorrow, Spielberg sends him "word of wisdom everyday. He'll send ideas, he'll draw out ideas on pads of paper and I'll shoot them."
We also heard from the new stars of the movie.
"I feel like Jurassic Park was sort of our generation's Star Wars. It's a really big deal," Bryce explained.
"Where we're shooting right now is 'Jurassic World,'" Pratt said. "People from around the world -20,000 visitors a day - come to see the dinosaurs and see the several attractions - and it's been around long enough to where attendance starts to fall off a little bit so they decide to come up with a new attraction to bring even more people in and - you're never going to believe it - but it doesn't go well!"
The video also shows us the younger cast members, Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins, showing off their screaming and running skills.
