Soulja Boy is NOT dead!
Now that Mstars cleared up...
For some very bizarre reason, the "Crank That" rapper fell victim to the infamous celebrity death hoax on Twitter earlier this week. Check out as several fans mourn the Chicago emcee's "tragic" passing:
@Not_Like_Chris: "The 'Soul' in Soulja Boy is gone... Rest in peace man. #RIPSouljaBoy."
@NolanEmme: "#ripsouljaboy this is so sad... but let's all remember that soulja boy did indeed 'tell em' thank u soulja."
@ow333n: "#RIPSouljaBoy cranked it all the way to heaven."
@TrapLifeTrouble: That's f*cked up how everybody dying. RIP Soulja Boy."
Thankfully, many tweeters did not fall for the morbid prank:
@DisBishDoe: "RIP Soulja Boy? Yeah maybe his career #notdead."
@YungCkillemAll: "@blackxjesuss: 'WHY IS RIP SOULJA BOY TRENDING IF HES STILL TWEETING' - cause him and his music been dead... he a zombie."
@HellcatPerez: "Looks like Soulja Boy has joined the ever growing list of celebs getting a RIP trend on twitter when they're not actually dead..."
@_Amestris: "They got RIP Soulja Boy trending lmao."
While all this mayhem was going on, Soulja Boy was actually online, tweeting himself! The rapper's out with a new music video for the hit track, "Hustlin" -
He's even preparing to kick-off an upcoming tour:
Yup - not dead. Actually doing pretty well!
