Fans of the CW's Arrow have been eagerly waiting for the Season 3 premiere ever since the action-packed Season 2 finale came to a close. Unfortunately, they'll have to wait a while longer, but the network has revealed the show's premiere date.
Season 3 of Arrow will debut on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m., followed by an encore of The Flash series premiere, which debuts the previous night at 8 p.m. This means fans must wait more than three months for the show to return, but at least the countdown can officially start!
But when the show returns, will Caity Lotz be there as Sara? According to a recent report, it's entirely possible! The following comes from the "Ask Ausiello" spoiler column at TVLine:
As Colton Haynes (who plays Roy) reminds, Sara 'gave up her jacket' to sis Laurel before rejoining Nyssa and the League of Assassins in the season finale. But hey, that's nothing a trip to Wilson Leather Goods can't fix, right? 'I think we'll definitely see Sara back,' Haynes ventures. 'I'm not sure how soon, but obviously, when she does, we might see different facets of her.'"
In other Arrow news, TVLine recently reported that Felicity could get a new love interest when the show returns in Season 3, which would certainly throw a wrench into any "Olicity" hopes. Here's what the site had to say about the new character, possibly named Daniel:
"Though Daniel could be a fake name to throw off spoilerholics, this 20something gent - a major recurring character for Season 3 - is a handsome, enigmatic and highly intelligent entrepreneur developing groundbreaking technology. (Picture a business magnate in Ryan Gosling's body.) Though exuding charm and confidence in public, he privately harbors a tragic past that will drive him to become a tech-powered superhero. Watch for this formidable fella to be a love interest for Felicity and a rival of Oliver's - both personally and professionally."
